these last four months, 326 occurred in the parish of Wallington. It commenced in Upper Wallington and South Beddington by means of a few scattered cases, which, being unnotified, were not discovered until the schools in Wallington proper
1000 males, yet the proportion varied in each parish from only 926 females in Addington to as many as 1240 in Beddington, and 1410 in Wallington, to every 1000 males. This, however, is quite sufficient to show that the death-rates of the various
orders in regard to two of the houses. The long-standing nuisance caused by encampments of gipsies at Beddington Corner, Wallington, close to a considerable population, was, it is hoped, finally abated during the year. Notices were served

being within the Singlegate District, so often alluded to in previous reports. In February cases occurred in Wallington, Beddington, and Mitcham, and in March a case occurred in Kenley, and 1 at the Holborn Schools in Mitcham, the latter being
being 44 months. The majority of the deaths—15—occurred in Mitcham, while 2 occurred in Merton, and 1 each in Beddington and Wallington. Influenza.—The information about this disease is very unreliable. There seem to have been several cases
year. During the first quarter 8 cases occurred in private houses, 3 of which were in Wallington, 2 at Beddington Corner, 2 in Mitcham, and 1 at Purley. In April and May there were 2 cases in one house at Beddington Corner, and 1 at Raynes Park. In June
