under the control of the Medical Officer of Health.
Civil Ambulance Removals during 1943 totalled 810, being made
up as follows:—
Private Removals 326
Maternity Cases 249
Accidents 235
NURSING IN THE HOME.
This service is undertaken mainly by the staff of the Beddington
and Wallington District Nursing Association and their work in the
Borough is greatly appreciated.
During the year the District Nurses attended 955 cases, including
81 maternity and 98 midwifery patients.

1. Child Welfare Centres.When held.
Elm Grove, The Grange, London Road.First and third Mondays of the month.*
- Hackbridge, The Grange. London Road.Second and fourth Mondays of the month.*
Bandon Hill, Methodist Hall, Sandy Lane North.First and third Tuesdays of the month.*
High View, Methodist Hall, Sandy Lane North.Second and fourth Tuesdays of the month.*
Beddington, Village Hall.First and third Wednesdays of the month.*
Wallington, Baptist Hall, Queen's Road.Second and fourth Wednesdays of the month.*
*October to March, 1.30-3.30.April to September, 2.0-4.0.
2. Maternity Clinics.
Ante-Natal Clinic.Thursdays and Fridays, 2.0-4.0.
Post-Natal Clinic.First Wednesday of the month, 2.0-4.0.
