    Housing of the Working Glasses Act, 1890, 53 and 54 Vict., ch. 70. The following is a list of the properties dealt with in St, Giles District from 1st January, 1892, to the end of the year, a total of 28 houses. If these are added to the 78 reported in the previous year, it will show that 106 houses have been represented as unfit for human habitation since the passing of the Act on 18th August, 1890.

    Cow-house. In pursuance of the powers devolving upon the London County Council under Section 20 of the Public Health London Act, 1891, the undermentioned licence was granted on the 4th November last for a cowshed in Goldsmith Street. At present no cow is kept there.
