applicant must also agree to have any case of infectious
disease occurring in his rooms removed to the proper hospital.
2.—Tenants are required to report to the Superintendent any births,
deaths, and cases of infectious disease occurring in their

scarlet and typhoid fever. Any Tenant not complying with
this rule will receive notice to quit.

his office, on Mondays, between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.
4.—No arrears of rent will be allowed.
5.—The stairs, the passages, and the closets must be washed every
Saturday, and swept every morning before 10 o'clock. This
must be done by the Tenants in turn, except the stairs at
Streatham Street. All rooms must be kept clean and in good
order.
6.—No washing must be done or clothes hung out, except in the
appointed places. Except at Portpool Lane, Tenants will not
be permitted to use the laundries for the washing of any
clothes but their own.
