Cow-house.

In pursuance of the powers devolving upon the London County Council under Section 20 of the Public Health London Act, 1891, the undermentioned licence was granted on the 4th November last for a cowshed in Goldsmith Street. At present no cow is kept there.

The Council also granted licenses to the following slaughterers of cattle:—

Animals Improperly Kept.
Orders were made upon owners to remove a number of
dogs, rabbits, pigeons and fowls found upon premises kept
in such place or manner as to be a nuisance or injurious or
dangerous to health.
Unsound Food.
From time to time during the year quantities of meat,
fish and fruit, intended for the food of man, were destroyed
at the stone yard.
