5. Perfect control over the degree of heat is obtained
without any risk of burning the articles operated on.
6. The disinfected articles are perfectly dry when taken
out of the apparatus.
7. Certainty of disinfection, the pressure of the steam
quickly penetrating through the thickest and most closely
packed bad conductors of heat, such as feathers, beds,
mattresses, rags, &c.
