The above table shows that there were 65 inquests held
on the bodies of parishioners who died from sudden and
violent causes during the year.
39 of the inquests were held at the Coroner's Court,
Goldsmith Street, and 26 at Public Hospitals and other
places outside the District according to the directions of the
Coroner.
38 of the deaths were from natural causes.
23 were from accidents.
11 were from suicide.
1 was from wilful neglect.
