The following is the text of Dr. Hill's Report for 1929:—
ANTE-NATAL CLINIC.
Until the end of February three sessions were held weekly,
but owing to the increase in numbers, it was found necessary to
start a fourth session on Friday afternoons, beginning the first
week in March.
As the total number of new cases, 750, represents over 50
per cent. of the births actually taking place in the Borough during
the year, it is unlikely that there will be any considerable increase
in future years, for there will always be a proportion of mothers
who do not need to attend the Municipal Centre.
Attendances during the year:—
