POST NATAL CLINIC.
This is held on Wednesdays concurrently with one session
of the Ante-natal Clinic. All patients delivered in the Maternity
Home are asked to attend, but the number is necessarily limited.
Number of patients 32
Total number of attendances 56
Of the 32 patients examined, two were found to be suffering
from retroversion of the uterus, and were treated. The condition
was, in both cases, possibly due to the fact that these mothers
live in upper rooms, with no water supply, and are obliged to
carry pails of water upstairs.
