PUERPERAL FEVER AND PUERPERAL PYREXIA.
The Council provides consultants and arranges for pathological or
bacteriological examinations in cases of puerperal fever or pyrexia at the
request of the medical practitioner in attendance.
Special Consultant's Fees were paid in 2 cases.
Hospital treatment is also arranged for in suitable cases.
