Of the foregoing new cases, the following were notified from Institutions in the district:—

Of the 41 deaths which occurred of Ilford residents, notification had
previously been made of 40 of the cases. In the remaining case the presence
of Tuberculosis was only discovered as a result of post mortem examination.

Cases of Tuberculosis, on notification, are visited by the Tuberculosis
Nurses. Cases of longer standing are visited by the Sanitary Inspectors
during the year, a visit being made to each patient every six months; 1,226
persons were visited during the year. The following reports were obtained:—
