Deaths.
The deaths in the total population of London during 1935 numbered 47,847
giving a death-rate of 11.4 per thousand, compared with 12.2 in 1934. This is the
lowest death-rate in London since 1923. Of the total deaths 23,511, or 49.1 per
cent., were among females.
