MARKETS.Markets and Market Streets were under the observation of your Inspectors daily as well as on Saturday nights and Sunday mornings, especially during the summer months. The following unfit Food was seized during the year:—

SLAUGHTER HOUSFS.
The Licensed Slaughter Houses in the Parish have been kept in a cleanly
condition during the year.
COW SHEDS.
The Licensed Cow Sheds in the Parish have also been kept in compliance
with the Regulations.
DAIRIES AND MILKSHOPS.
The Dairies and Milkshops, so far as the storage of milk is concerned, are
controlled by the County Council.
BAKEHOUSES.
The Bakehouses are inspected twice annually, and where necessary proper
cleansing and compliance with the Regulations is enforced.
MARINE STORES.
These stores where bones and other decomposable matters are kept are also
inspected from time to time.
