The removal of domestic refuse is still the source of many complaints, and will
continue to he until the adoption of a system of weekly collection from house to
house. Other London Parishes appear to have adopted improved systems with
benefit, and their experience would form an invaluable guide to improvement.
NUISANCES.
During the past year 2,532 Notices were issued for Sanitary Amendments,
164 Orders were made, and 18 Prosecutions (as well as 28 under the Food and
Drugs Act) were instituted as under :—
