TUBERCULAR DISEASES.
677 deaths occurred from the principal Tubercular Diseases
during the year; this number is equal to 2.8 per 1,000 of
population and 141.2 per 1,000 of total deaths.
In London during the year the proportions were respectively
2.6 per 1,000 of population and 134.9 per 1,000 of total deaths.

WASTING DISEASES OP INFANTS.
There were 284 deaths of children under one year of age from
Wasting Diseases, equal to 37.7 per 1,000 births and 245.2 per
1,000 of total deaths under one year.
