The 15 inch pipe sewer between Bessborough Road and
Alton "Fernwood" has been taken up and re-laid on concrete
Road. at an improved gradient at a cost of £302 2s. 3d.
A storm overflow weir, with sewer 3 feet in diameter and 1,496
Greyhound feet in length, together with an 18 inch pipe sewer,
Lane. under same for a length of 980 feet, has been
structed in Greyhound Lane, Streatham. The total cost was £2,204,
towards which, however, the sum of £250 will be contributed by the
Crooke Ellison trustees, who also undertake to give up the land for
the future widening of the road to 54 feet.
