SEWERS.
During the past year the following, lengths of sewers, &c., have
been constructed in the Borough:—

Manholes 264
Lampholes 1
Ventilators 78
Gullies 465
SEWER VENTILATION.
16 sewer ventilating shafts have been fixed against sides of houses
and 7 columns erected during the year, in lieu of surface ventilators
in the roads which in all cases have been hermetically sealed.
