SANITARY CONVENIENCES.
The following is a return of the receipts during the year at each
of the conveniences:—

The amount expended in the maintenance of these, together with
19 urinals, was £1,541 19s. 5d.
Merton Road.
In accordance with agreement with the Royal Brewery, Brentford,
Ltd., a contract amounting to £729, has been entered
into with Messrs. W. & C. Brown, Earlsfield, for the
construction of an underground convenience at the junction of
West Hill Road, to the designs prepared by the Surveyor for the
Western District. It is proposed to erect two w.c.'s and six stalls
at present, and provision has been made for the erection of one w.c.
and six additional stalls when necessary.
