(3) Milk Sampling.
91 formal samples of milk were submitted to the
Public Analyst for chemical examination. None of the
samples was found to be adulterated.
132 samples of designated milk were also examined
and the results are shown in the following table:—

(4) Milk delivered to Schools.
110 samples of milk were taken in accordance with the
arrangements for sampling milk delivered to London
County Council Schools.
55 of this number were submitted for chemical
examination and were reported genuine.
55 were submitted for bacteriological examination and
all were found to be satisfactory.
(b) Meat and other Foods.
Visits made during the year to shops and other premises
where food is sold, prepared for sale or stored totalled 2,354.
At 20 of these premises unsatisfactory conditions were
found to exist and appropriate action was taken.
