INSPECTION AND SUPERVISION OF FOOD.
(a) Milk Supply.
(1) Inspection of premises.
211 inspections of dairies and other premises in the
Borough used in connection with the distribution of milk
were made during the year by the Inspectors. Conditions
at the premises inspected were satisfactory.
(2) Registration and Licensing.
Details of registrations and licences issued during the
year under the Milk and Dairies Regulations, 1949, and the
Milk (Special Designation) (Pasteurised and Sterilised Milk)
Regulations, 1949, and Milk (Special Designation) (Raw
Milk) Regulations, 1949, respectively, are given in the
tables below.
