A. Indicates notifications by Medical Officers of Poor Law Institutions.
B. Indicates notifications by District Medical Officers.
C. Indicates notifications of patients' changes of address made by Superintendents
of Poor Law Institutions.
From which it will be seen that during the year there
were a total of 102 patients notified, 38 of them being
already in Poor Law Institutions, and 64 beingpatients
outside such Institutions, concerning which
patients we received 26 intimations of change of addresses,
a further 13 second notifications from other Poor
Law Medical Practitioners, 1 fourth notification, 1 fifth
notification, and 1 sixth notification, whilst 2 second
notifications of changes of address, and 2 third such
notifications were also received.
GREENWICH HEALTH SOCIETY.
This Society continues to make slow but satisfactory
progress in the Borough. Changes in the management
have now been carried out, the late Secretary feeling compelled
to resign the post on account of ill health, and
a new Secretary having been found in the person of
Mrs. Cooper Key, of the Royal Naval College, under
whose able direction it is thought that this Society will
grow and continue to do its good work. There is still
a great need, however, for suitable visitors, and I think
