Births.
The total number of births occurring in the Borough was
3,319, including 418 non-residents who were born in Institutions.
1,433 births of Borough residents occurred outside the Borough,
so that the corrected number of births was 4,334 compared with
4,688 in 1930.
In Table II. is shown the number of births, males and
females, the birth-rate, and the rate of natural increase, for each
sub-district, and for the whole Borough.
