The figures given in these Tables are those obtained after
correction by exclusion of " Non-Residents " and the inclusion
of "Residents" beyond the district.
Small-pox.—No cases were notified during the year.
Scarlet Fever.—The total number of cases notified during
the year was 230 from 184 houses, as against 119 and 73 for
1919 and 1918 respectively. The attack-rate was 3'6 per
thousand of the population.
In one house there were 5 cases, in three houses 4, in
nine houses 3, in fourteen houses 2, and in the remainder 1
each.
There were two deaths, corresponding to a death-rate of
.03 per thousand of the population.
The disease occurred in the following numbers at the
