GENERAL MORTALITY
Out of 157 deaths belonging to the combined District of
Merton and Morden, 30 were over 70 years of age, 11 between 70
and 75, 9 between 75 and 80, 7 between 80 and 85, and 3
over 85.
The disease which caused the largest number of deaths was
Cancer (18), with Pulmonary Tuberculosis next with 12 deaths,
and Measles with 8.
Bronchitis, Pneumonia and other forms of respiratorv
diseases caused 15 deaths.
