A few houses still draw their water from wells. Samples of
water from six wells were examined daring the year. In three
cases the samples shewed that the water was fit for use for
domestic purposes. In one instance the well was closed, and
action was pending at the end of the year in the case of the
remaining two wells, which were yielding polluted water.
