CAB RADIUS.
In the month of April a communication was received
from the Lewisham District Board of Works, suggesting that
the cab radius of four miles from Charing Cross should be
abolished. Bearing in mind that since this radius was
formed the suburbs of London have been transformed from
rural to urban communities, the Vestry passed a resolution
expressing concurrence in the view that the time had arrived
when the limit of four miles for the regulation of cab fares
should be abolished.
