By arrangement with the owner of the property, an iron ventilating pipe from
the sewer, with exhaust cowl, has been fixed between Nos. 56c and 56d Ainstv
Street.
The Vestry have also been in communication with the Metropolitan Board
of \\ orks, urging the Board to provide additional exhaust ventilators to the
main sewer, Rotherhithe New-road.
I he foollwing houses in Osprev-street, viz.: Nos. 6 to 14 on the south side, and
Nos. 9 to 19 and 25 and 27 on the north side, have been drained into the pipe sewer
in the street, and a man-hole formed in the said sewer.
