HOUSE DRAINAGE.
120 houses (including 80 new erections and other buildings)
have been connected with the Sewers, and the following works
executed in connexion therewith, viz. :—
24 feet of 12in. Pipe Drains laid.
577 „ 9in.
4,729 „ Gin. „
1,220 „ 4in. „
107 Closet Pans and Traps fixed.
154 Sinks and Traps fixed.
PAVING.
New footway Paving has been laid down as follows, viz. :—
Limeiiouse.—Parts of Gill Street, Copenhagen Place, Limehouse
Causeway, Amoy Place, and Oak Lane, Barnes Street,
corner of Salmon Lane, part of Carr Street, East of New Railway
Bridge, Blount Street, West of New Railway Bridge, parts of Burdett
Road, Church Row, Farrance Street, and Locksley Street.
SHADWELL—Parts of High Street.
Wapping.—Footway High Street, next Tunnel Pier.
Old footway Paving has been relaid as follows, viz. :—
Limeiiouse.—Parts of Limehouse Causeway, Maroon Street,
between Carr Street and Aston Street, Barnes Street, corner of Salmon
Lane, parts of Burdett Road, Oak Lane, and Copenhagen Place,
Lowell Street, and Carr Street, East of New Railway, Blount Street,
West of New Railway, parts of Farrance Street, Island Row, Amoy
Place, Agnes Street, North Street, and Burdett Road, Commercial
Road, opposite "Brittannia" P.H., parts of Rhodeswell Road, and
Gill Street.
Ratcliff.—Parts of Caroline Street, Butcher Row, Dorset
Street, Narrow Street, Ann Street, and Durham Row.
Siiadwell.—Parts of Glamis Road, West Gardens, Love Lane,
King David Lane, New Gravel Lane, and Milk Yard.
Wapping.—High Street next Tunnel Pier, and Hedge's Warehouses,
and various parts of High Street.
