BOARD OF WORKS FOR THE LIMEHOUSE
DISTRICT.

Gentlemen,
I beg to submit to you my Report upon the Work executed
in the District from Lady-day, 1881, to Lady-day, 1882.
SEWERS.
New Sewers have been constructed as follows, viz. :—
PIPE SEWERS.
Limehouse—Selsey Street—12in. Pipe Sewer, constructed by
owner and houses connected therewith.
The following Sewers have been cleansed by the Contractor of
the Board, viz. :—
333 feet of 12in. pipe.
2 New Gullies constructed in Ratcliff.
12 Gullies altered and repaired.
6 New Gully Grates supplied.
2 New side entrance flaps.
2 „ „ repaired
2 Urinals repaired.
2 Block traps fixed.
1 Meter Box fixed.
All the Gullies in the District have been periodically emptied,
and filled with water.
