needed as the roadside waste in Green-lane, where the granite has
been stored hitherto, was no longer available.
MISCELLANEOUS.
Requests for suggestions were received from the London
County Council on 25 applications to build beyond the general
line of buildings, to form New Streets, &c.
I attended before the Superintending Architect on a question
of line of frontage in Wells-road.
The steps on the Sydenham Footbridge were much worn.
They were taken out and replaced by new teak steps.
At the end of this report I append lists of Flushing Tanks at
work in the Division, the Roads maintained by the Board and the
lengths of the same, a list of New Streets sanctioned, and a tabulated
statement of the London County Council cases.
