IX. The Clerk read Memorials from the Slopmen and Dustmen
in the Vestry's employ, asking for an increase in their
wages.
Moved by Mr. R. Kemp seconded by Mr. Coker and resolved
—That the Memorials be referred to the Dusting and
Cleansing Committee for consideration and report.
X. The Clerk read a circular letter of 16th October ultimo,
from the Metropolitan Asylums' Board, suggesting the use of
forms not provided for by the order of the Local Government
Board.
Moved by Mr. Coker seconded by Mr. Richardson and
resolved—That the Clerk be authorised to arrange with the
Metropolitan Asylums' Board for the use of such forms, provided
that they will not prejudice the Vestry's position with
regard to obtaining recoupment.
XI. The Clerk read a letter of the 13th instant, from Messrs.
M. E. Loach & Son, on the subject of the sanitary state of
Frimley Passage, &c.
Moved by Mr. Richardson seconded by Mr. Henley and
resolved—That it be referred to No. 3 Committee for consideration
and report.
XII. NOTICE OF MOTION.
By Mr. Coker—That so much of the strip of land now
lying vacant at the North East corner of White Horse Lane,
together with the premises occupied by Mr. Bardouleau with
the adjoining court and the Butcher's shop adjacent, be acquired
by this Vestry at a reasonable cost for purposes of public
improvement and that application be made to the London
County Council to bear the whole or part of the expense.
XIII. Moved by Mr. Upton seconded by Mr. Furness and resolved—That
the Vestry do now adjourn, and that thanks be
voted to the Chairman.
The Meeting then separated.
