Moved by Mr. Loftus seconded by Mr. Birks and resolved
—That the report be received.
Moved by Mr. Loftus and seconded by Mr. Calton—That
the report be adopted.
Moved by Mr. Lacey and seconded by Mr. R. Kemp as
an amendment—That the matter be referred back to the
Committee.
The amendment was accepted by the Chairman of the
Committee, who by consent withdrew the motion for the
adoption of the Report, and the amendment was put to a
show of hands and carried unanimously.
IX. The following matters were referred to No. 2 Committee
for consideration and report—
(1) As to the better lighting of Lichfield Road.
(2) As to the state of the tramways between Bancroft Road
and Harford Street.
