There was no unusual or excessive mortality during the year,
nor was the amount of sickness and invalidity, as far as could be
ascertained, such as to call for any special comment in this report.
Population.
The population of the Borough at the last Census (1931) was
251,294. The Registrar-General has estimated the population of
Camberwell at mid-year 1932 to be 248,000, and on 1 his figure
the statistical information relating to births and deaths for the
vear under review has been calculated.
