Health Visiting.
The Council employs three Health Visitors for Maternity and
Child Welfare work in the areas served by the three Municipal
Centres. In addition, the two women Sanitary Inspectors are
employed part-time for the visiting of cases of ophthalmia
neonatorum, measles, whooping cough, anterior polio-myelitis
puerperal fever and puerperal pyrexia.
The seven voluntary centres employ ten full-time Health
Visitors, and one centre also employs a Health Visitor for half-time

This Council pays the London County Council under the terms of the agreement the sum of nine shillings per day for each occupied bed, and as a matter of general interest particulars of the patients' contribution towards the cost of the treatment provided is given in the following analysis:—
