The following Table shows the Pulmonary deaths distributed over
the four quarters, and also indicates the mean temperature and rainfall
of each quarter and of the whole year.

As before remarked the weather during the year was very equable,
January and February were unusually warm. In March there was
some very cold weather with snow. April and the early part of
May were cold and ungenial. Juno was a pleasant month. July
was fine in the early part, but cold and unsettled at the end. August
and September were warm and fine. October and November were
cold with a few warm days at intervals. December was foggy at
the early part, and unusualty warm at the end of the month. The
highest temperature recorded during the year was 85.2 in June, and
the lowest 23.4 in March. The mean temperature during the year was
49.43, practically the same as 1882.
The rainfall was greatest in September (3.36 inches) and lowest in
August (0.44 inches). The total rainfall during the year was
about twenty-two inches, three inches less than in 1882.
