Eight children died between the ages of one year and five years, viz.,
3 from violence, 2 from pneumonia, and 1 each from influenza, whooping
cough and appendicitis.

The number of deaths from various causes in the two periods, 1916— 1920 and 1921—1925, are shown in the following Table:—
