Poor Law Relief.—The amount expended in the District in
outdoor relief in 1925 was £616 5s. lid.
(2) General Provision of Health Services in the Area.
Hospitals Provided or Subsidised by the Local Authority or
by the County Council.—Hospitals for Tuberculosis and Smallpox are
available under the schemes of the Surrey County Council.
The Isolation Hospital for the District is the Guddington Joint
Isolation Hospital in the Epsom Rural Distiict.
General medical and surgical cases are admitted to the Leatherhead
Cottage Hospital, Epsom Road, Leatherhead.
Ambulance Facilities.—A motor ambulance for the removal of
cases of infectious disease is provided by the Joint Hospital Board.
