The charge for those whose income exceeds above scale is 25s.

The scheme was started in May, 1935. At the end of the yearthere
were 12 women on the panel, and five families had made use
of a home help.
Orthopedic Clinic.
Arrangements have been made with the Nelson Hospital,
Merton, for children in need of orthopaedic treatment to attend the
orthopaedic clinic of this hospital. During the year 20 cases were
referred to this clinic, as compared with eight cases in 1934.
Dental Clinic.
In March, 1933, arrangements were made with the Surrey
County Council to use the school dental clinic for persons requiring
dental treatment under the Maternity and Child Welfare Scheme.
This arrangement was terminated in September, 1935, when the
Borough Council opened a dental clinic at Cavendish Road Welfare
Centre. A part time dental surgeon is engaged for the work, and
the clinic is held twice monthly. During the year the following

X Ray Examinations.
Arrangements have been made with the Wilson Hospital,
Mitcham, for the X-ray examination of women atttending the
ante-natal clinics. The majority of the examinations are made to
determine the presentation of the child in doubtful cases, and also
to confirm the diagnosis of twins.
During the year 18 women attended for this examination, as
compared with 18 last year.
