During the year 36 deaths were registered as occurring in infants under one year of age:—

as compared with 46 deaths last year.
The infantile mortality rate for the year is equal to 37.1 per 1,000
live births, as against 43 per 1,000 last year.
The infant mortality rate for England and Wales was 64 per
1,000 for 1933 and 65 per 1,000 for 1932.
