*Puerperal Fever and Pyrexia.—In addition to the one call for Puerperal
Fever, 4 other cases were subsequently notified by the medical practitioner as
Puerperal Fever, or Pyrexia, for which the medical aid calls were as follows:—
One labour trouble (retained placenta); one prolonged labour; one for perineal
tear, and later for severe sickness; and one for acute pain r. side.
Medical Aid for Infants.

46 calls were made on behalf of 47 infants, as follows (one case for twin children):—

Dead, Feeble or Stillborn.Eye Cases.Miscellaneous.Total.
Inflammation of or Discharging Eyes.Notified as Ophthalmia.

Lectures and Demonstrations to Midwives have been arranged during
the year under the joint auspices of the London and Middlesex County
Councils, and Tottenham midwives have availed themselves of the
privilege to attend.
