Legal proceedings were not taken in any case; in one case
only the foster-mother refused on several occasions to allow the
Health Visitor admission to her home. She was warned, at an
interview with the Medical Officer of Health, that legal proceedings
would be taken if she persisted in her actions; as a result of
the interview, it has been found unnecessary to take further steps.
Registration was cancelled in one case (as stated previously)
owing to the persistent refusal of the foster-mother to conform to
the rules of the Council for the administration of the Act.
