Provision of Nutrients and Medicaments
The supply of nutrients and medicaments in accordance with the
County Council's scheme and the facilities provided by the Ministry of
the distribution of orange juice, cod liver oil and Vitamin A and
D tablets from the child welfare centres has continued to operate through-
the year, this work being undertaken by voluntary helpers.
It is fitting here to record an appreciation of the excellent work carried
out by voluntary helpers in this branch of the work.

Willing to undertake the treatment of priority classes as defined in the
National Health Service Act, i.e., nursing and expectant mothers and

considerably improved as a result of the facilities for treatment afforded
since the coming into force of the Act.
