Closet Accommodation.
Accommodation on the water carriage system is almost general
throughout the district 99 per cent. of the houses having water
closets.
Scavenging.
This is carried out by the Local Authority and is under the
control of the Surveyor.
During 1927, collection of house refuse has continued weekly
as before, and was disposed of by means of a dump in the Staines
Road.
The method of disposal is that each day's tipping is completely
covered with earth.
During the year as a result of action taken there were supplied
71 new ashbins.
