The revenue derived from the admission of patients from
outside areas since 1919 now exceeds £39,000.
Two hundred and ninety-two cases were admitted to the
Infectious Diseases Hospital during 1938. As there were thirtyfour
cases in hospital at the end of 1937, the total number of
cases under treatment during the year amounted to three
hundred and twenty-six. One hundred and forty-three of these
