With regard to samples Nos. 18 and 20, above-mentioned, the following
action was taken:—
No. 18.—The unsatisfactory bacterial count was reported to the
Medical Officer of Health of a neighbouring authority, and the
matter was dealt with by his department. A series of samples
was subsequently analysed and proved to be satisfactory.
No. 20.—Similar action to the case mentioned above was taken in
this instance, and subsequent samples taken proved to be
satisfactory.
