9 school children were X-rayed at the Clinic during the year.
The effect of the School Medical Service on the incidence of
ringworm in the Schools is shown by the following figures. In
1908, before Medical Inspection started, there were 135 cases of
Ringworm in the Schools. At the end of last year there were
only 5 cases under observation.
7. Following Up.— This has been carried out in the manner
described in my previous reports.
During 1924, 2,825 home visits by the Nurses were paid for
the purpose, and 1,402 children were re-examined by the doctors
at school.
8. Medical Treatment.—
(a) Minor Ailments.— The attendances at the morning Clinic
during 1924 were as follows :—
