(a) Small-pox.—No case of Small-pox occurred in 1924.
Notifications of 13 persons who had been in contact with cases of
Small-pox were received.
The following gives particulars as to vaccinations during
1924:—

Small-pox Hospital Accommodation.—Vide Annual Report,
1922.
(b) Scarlet Fever.—157 cases were notified in 1924, as compared
with 131 in 1923, 252 in 1922, and 461 in 1921. Of the 157,
2 cases occurred in the Girls' Village Homes, Barkingside. No
deaths from Scarlet Fever occurred in Ilford in 1924.
