On Mr. Bull leaving his appointment as Chief Clerk, Mr.
Haigh was appointed Sanitary Inspector and Chief Clerk. Two
new appointments of Sanitary Inspectors (Messrs. Rackham and
Reeves) were made. There are therefore now a whole-time Senior
Sanitary Inspector, four whole-time Sanitary Inspectors (one of
whose time is taken up chiefly with disinfection work), and a
Chief Clerk, who is also a part-time Sanitary Inspector.

have been received and investigated:—
