the breach of regulations existed from the date of the
notice served by the Board to the date of final abatement.
The fines and costs amounted to £63 2s., and £56 2s.
respectively.
Common Lodging-Houses Acts, 1851 and 1853.
The Secretary of State, by a Provisional Order which
came into operation 1st November, 1894, transferred to
the London County Council the powers of the Commissioners
of Metropolitan Police in respect of Common
Lodging-Houses.
