It will be seen from the table above that 83 inquests
were held during the year upon the bodies of parishioners
who died suddenly from natural causes and different forms
of violence, whether accidental or otherwise; 62 of these
were at the Coroner's Court, Groldsmith Street, and 21 at
public institutions outside the District, where the deceased
had been removed for treatment.
